Over many years thousands of kids played there,
Families had picnics, and friends were made.
It was a good place.
It was built by we the people, to last for many years.
But along the way it wasnt maintained...

Its closed to all... but why?
Months ago a wealthy group wanted to build a new playgroud in that city
Dollar signs flashed in local politicians eyes.
"We must tear down Kidz Kove" was their unison reply!
So they made up some lies... Arsenic its there oh my!!
Lets get the bulldozers quick, smash it, burn it they cried!
But what about the people, who,s names still remain?
I wonder if they know? I wonder if they care?
