It's a chilly day
The sun is peeking out
but north winds are blowing.
Still I wanted to go check on my duck friends
They stay close to shore and look for a break from the wind
The mother swans are still covering their nests,
keeping eggs warm and safe...
So on this grey day I decided it was a good time
for some greyscale imperfect nature images

Hello Friends
Its Spring again and nature is poking its way out from winter shadows.
It was an easy winter here in northern Michigan
we got a lot of snow but it was mostly in 2 or 3 storms
so easier to tolerate I guess...
I am feeling OK for an old guy
moving a bit slower every day
My heart attack a year ago was tough
Triple bypass and a lot of hibernating has brought some healing and I am trying to stay at my best.
I will continue to get out in nature for as long as I am able
no plans for slowing down anytime soon.
Wherever I go I am always finding something that brings peace.
This year I am thinking about lighthouses and old buildings and as always old tractors. There will be plenty of room for imperfect nature and my unusual views of what I see that I love...

The snow is finally going away
Spring is sneaking in...
will it stay?
I am feeling pretty human
Getting out every day if I can
Todays venture is the Lone Pine Trail in black and white
The shadows and colors of early spring make a different look to nature
I think black and white is the perfect choice for this
