About Me

My photo
Disabled in 2012, I took up photography to keep my brain busy. The depression and other issues connected to my health issues are often hard to carry. Getting out with my old camera helps bring me a little peace. I love nature and all of Gods creations. I am a fan of black and white photography and sunsets. 15  years ago I was told that total blindness could come in as little as a month Thru the work of a very skilled eye surgeon and Gods grace I can see today enough to read, drive, and take pictures!

I know every day of having eyesight is a gift, and I am trying to make the best of each day

The reason I do this

When I load up my camera and my walking stick and head out
Im not looking to be the best photographer
Im not looking for the million dollar shot...
As I go out, on the trail, in the woods, a city street, wherever
Im looking for what I see that catches my eye

Im looking for things that are peaceful and unique
Gods creation is all over just waiting for me to stop and look
If I walk too fast I might miss a wonderful sight.
At the end of the day there is a peaceful place
a place without drama and stress
a place just waiting to be discovered
I stop, look twice, focus and click
ahhh another memory saved forever.
