I went down to Logans landing watching the ducks and swans and geese
on this chilly November day
so many nice people
and so many awesome dogs to meet
Thanks to Elaine (laney) for stopping and chatting a while

When I was a teenager a million years ago
I picked up an old Canon 35mm film camera,
I loaded up some film (I think I messed it up a time or two).
This time I received a digital camera A bit of a new learning curve but OK
thru these years I have learned to find peace out in nature, walking along hiking trails, wandering thru the wood. Peace was found in looking at the imperfect wonderful things in nature.
I met a few nice people along the way but mostly I found that there is peace in solitude.
Times alone with nature are good times for prayer and contemplation and mostly healing.
So I started this blog in hope of sharing not only my pictures, but perhaps the peace that I have found
Today as I write I havent posted anything in a month and I wonder if my blog still has a purpose
Health problems keep beating me up but I am still fighting to keep going
God isnt thru with me yet
Im pondering
Should I keep trying to find new things to share?
Should I give up on this blog and accept that its time
I just dont know
click on the mushrooms to buy me a new camera
Taking a drive in Kalkaska County Michigan
I stopped at the Rugg Pond Historical Marker
Further down the road I stopped at Seven Brisges Natural area
Come along with me as I see what nature awaits us on this Fall Morning!
