30 degrees with a 20 MPH wind in my face...
Sunset over Boardman Lake tonight
An old bald guy wanders Northern Michigan
finding peace in nature
Nature is calling, and I must go.

Moms Old Radio
This is an old Philco radio
Passed on to me from my Mom
I am told that my uncle had 2 of these beasts
and he would put one on each side
and listen to his favorite radio show
Passed on to me from my Mom
I am told that my uncle had 2 of these beasts
and he would put one on each side
and listen to his favorite radio show
I heard it play many years ago and it might today
but the years have left the old wiring old and brittle, like me
So, I will just remember that awesome sound
Old radio shows and simpler times

Words from the Photographer
I am often asked the same questions so I have decided to answer them today
If you have other questions please email them to me and I will reply.
1) Tomm why dont you enter contests ?
>> Simply because I have no chance of winning. I am competing against people who sit in front of a computer and manipulate their pictures and I refuse to do that. After all of my eye surgery I cant sit in front of a computer and do that. I like my pictures to look like what I saw. I am happy with my pictures and will continue to do what feels right to me. I am not trying to compete or impress anyone.
2) Tomm do you sell your pictures, do calendars, or postcards or prints?
>> No. I dont have the space or resources to do so. I appreciate your praise of my pictures. I love hearing that you enjoy them or that they bring you a moment of peace or joy. The pictures on my blog are shared freely. If you want to contribute a few dollars to support my adventures, the information is at the bottom of each page, or you an email me at: Tom@PeacefulExposuresPhotography.net Thank You
3) Why do you do this?
>>> I do this because it brings me peace. it helps me keep grounded in a very stressful hurting world. When i have my camera with me, i find people and places and things that remind me of Gods Beauty that is all around us. I have seen some amazing things, and met some incredible people along the way
Thank you all for coming along with me
