I spotted this beautiful friend near the shore fighting against the strong North wind.
Look closer...
As you can see one of her feet is tucked under her wing across her back, obviously injured
I wondered what had happened to cause somethiong like this...
and then this happened!
Obviously this probably happens often
I will stop by in a day or so and see if I can find this wounded one again
So sad. I saw a female mallard at the Grelickville park with an injured foot. She was also being picked on. 😥
