I stopped in at the Grand Traverse Conservation district 
BoardmanRiver Nature Center  to try and have some up close photography fun.

As I sat in my lawn chair

The ducks came up to the edge to say  hi

Today I went down to Logans Landing
Not many ducks or geese to be seen
Removal of the dam and hydro power plant
has caused a lot of silt to pile up,
making it difficult for kayakers and such...
still a beautiful view

Thank you to the staff at Timber Ridge Resort for letting me visit today.
When my kids were young, this was the Fathers Day weekend place for us.
So many memories of kids and bikes and pogo sticks and smores...

A place for familes and friends and retires to relax and enjoy a slower, more peaceful time

So many ways to enjoy yourself here, bring your tent or camper or RV..
or maybe bring friends and try a cabin , or maybe a yurt...
However you do it, you are sure to have a good time!

Plenty for the kids to do too
a playground a jump pad,  bikes and more.

There are hiking, biking, and cross country skiing tails
Fun things going on all year round!

Thank you to my friends at Timber Ridge Resort  for letting me look around and enjoy some memories, and for the use of this classy ride to get me around!
